A Sense of Adventure - a slideshow about Fridtjof Nansen

Dr. Fridtjof Nansen (1861-1930) was a renown Norwegian biologist, oceanographer, polar explorer, diplomat and humanist - probably he is the most internationally famous Norwegian person ever. Among other, he was awarded the Nobel Peace Prize in 1922 for his humanitarian work helping displaced people.

The Nansen Center is proud and challenged to be allowed to use his name. Through A Sense of Adventure (Eventyrlyst)  we will during this 30 minutes slideshow present parts of the extraordinary life and achievements of Dr. Fridtjof Nansen. A sense of Adventure is available with Norwegian, English, Russian (to be published) and German (to be published) voices.
