SPECIAL: Seasonal PrEdiCtIon Algae bLoom

We will use machine learning to quantifies the risk of occurrence of a harmfull algae bloom on seasonal time scale

Objectives

  • Identify dangerous situations and their key drivers for fisheries and aquaculture

  • Assess the skill of dynamical predictions, retrieve physical and ocean colour remote sensing

    data and past HAB events in Norwegian waters

• Build and test a machine learning framework, to provide the index quantifying the riskof HAB occurrence
