Dr. Pierre Rampal receives the "le Prix de La Recherche"  in Paris.Dr. Pierre Rampal receives the "le Prix de La Recherche" in Paris.Nansen Center scientist Dr. Pierre Rampal has received on Tuesday 23rd October in Paris "le Prix de La Recherche" (9th edition) in the category Environment, for his article published in 2011 in Journal of Geophysical Research:

The "Prix de la Recherche" is organized every year by the French popular science magazine "La Recherche", its ambition is
- to celebrate particularly efficient works in fundamental or applied research,
- to reward a given research result in the past year (instead of a whole career)
- to promote the results in a broad public through the magazine La Recherche.

The jury was presided by Jules Hoffmann, Nobel Prize recipient 2011 in medicine.
