Svetlana Sorokina

I am a researcher in the Arctic climate dynamic working at the Nansen Environmental and Remote Sensing Center. My research is primarily focussed on the Arctic climate and sea-ice variability. The work includes analysis of general circulation models of the atmosphere and observational data, analysis of inter-annual to decadal climate and sea-ice variability in the Atlantic-Arctic sector.

I am participant of the nationally coordinated climate research project SKD-IPCC5 (Contribution to the IPCC 5th AR). I have been participated in nationally coordinated climate research projects: PAACSIZ, NORCLIM, POCAHONTAS, and NERSC-IARC.
